o Manage Networking Equipment and Windows servers, with responsibilities including troubleshooting of 600+ PC workstations using Windows XP. o Maintain and Support WAN/ LAN, VMware vSphere 4, Symantec Backup Exec 2010, LaserVault, Citrix Server, Websense 7.x, Extensis Universal Font server, and Active Directory o Support as necessary on a 24/7 basis to limit system down time during internal and external outages. o Maintain Service Level Agreements with internal and external help desk systems, help implement internal help desk system to streamline work orders and improve end user experience.
o Report directly to the Vice President of Operations as a resource for determining cost, quality and efficiency of system operations and capabilities related to loan processing and business procedures. o Establish and control budget, cost controls and projections while identifying, determining and achieving solutions for purchasing hardware/software, networking equipment, and licensing. o Manage and administer 3Com, HP Switches and Windows servers, with responsibilities including troubleshooting of 300+ PC workstations using Windows XP. o Implement and maintain network security using Checkpoint Firewall, System Management Server 2003, IDS, Vircom ModusGate and Symantec Enterprise Edition Anti-Virus Server. o Manage all network clients and servers including Right Fax 9.3, Exchange 2007, Active Directory, Group Policy, and SQL Cluster; daily network backup using ArcServe Backup Exec. o Build solid working partnerships with clients, staff ranging from IT to C-level executives, as resource for configuring VPN and for coordinating with AT&T and other vendors to negotiate mutually satisfactory rates. o Perform disaster recovery using Sungard; team member responsible for planning and implementing test runs and documentation to minimize downtime and maximum efficiency for corporate and remote sites. o Security Coordinator, special project management: work closely with Sungard to continuously provide assessment, testing ,safeguarding of system security and maintaining SAS70 certification. o Telephony Coordinator, special project management: managed Mitel and Interactive Intelligence VOIP.
In charge of systems management and analysis of switches, routers and servers. Responsible for budgeting, cost controls, projections, and hardware/software purchasing. Conducted weekly team meetings, and provided training and technical support of SASI, an integral student management software
